Responsibilities

Requirements
Proven experience in business management role within home care or similar environment.
Years of experience in developing a supported living and Domiciliary Care or Residential Home
Strong understanding of HCA and senior care practices, including dementia care and medication administration.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an empathetic approach towards residents and their families.

Duties
Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Manage complex medical procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, wound suturing, ventilator management, and tube feeding.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for patients in settings like ICU, trauma centers, hospice, or outpatient clinics.
Document all patient interactions meticulously using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide patient education on medication management, chronic disease control (e.g., diabetes or cardiac conditions), and post-discharge instructions.
Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, sonography, and basic medical imaging procedures like mammography or gastroscopy.
Support triage processes in emergency room or urgent care settings by prioritizing patient needs based on acuity levels.
Deliver specialized care for diverse populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
Participate in discharge planning and case management activities to facilitate smooth transitions of care across settings like home health or assisted living facilities.
Experience
Valid RN license with current registration in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
Proven experience working in hospital environments such as Level I or Level II trauma centers; ICU or PICU experience preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in critical care procedures including airway management, trauma medicine, infectious disease care, and acute pain management.
Experience utilizing EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation and order entry.
Background working with specialized populations such as patients requiring hospice & palliative medicine, dementia or Alzheimer’s care, memory care units, or long-term care facilities.
Familiarity with advanced nursing skills including ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and infection control protocols.
Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation law related to occupational health cases is a plus.
Prior experience in outpatient clinics or ambulatory surgery centers involving pre/post-operative nursing is advantageous.
Ability to perform physical examinations confidently and conduct diagnostic evaluations using laboratory tests or sonography equipment when needed.
